that personal and corporate prayer is crucial for us to be a spiritually growing, community impacting church.
Here are some of the ways in which we encourage prayer within the life of Deane Church:
Prayer Ministry Team
Our prayer ministry team meets weekly to pray for our Church, Church family and the wider community. This is the engine room of church life! On some weeks we pray together as group, and some weeks we meet in prayer triplets.
Members of the Prayer Ministry Team love to pray with people on a Sunday morning, or at other times during the week. You can also send prayer requests for yourself, or others that you know, to them via the prayer box in church, or in the Church Shop, or by email to email@example.com.

Monthly Prayer Meeting
Every month, on the Tuesday after the first Sunday (sorry that's a little confusing!) members of Deane Church and Lostock Church meet together to pray.
We usually begin with a Bible passage, share encouragements, have a time of confession, sometimes we sing, and we pray together. Some people pray out loud, some just prefer to listen. Either is fine! We just love to see people meeting together to pray.
Look out on Church Family News for details of upcoming prayer meetings.
Church Family News
In Church Family News every week we include some prayer points to help you pray through the week. These can be prayers focused on the world, our nation, the local community, and our Church family.
