Meeting together

Meeting with others

Home Groups

Home groups are about community. These groups of around 6-12 people are brilliant places to get to know each other, study the Bible together, pray together, minister to one another and be outward looking to the wider church and community.  Each week we look at a passage from the Bible together, usually the one spoken about at the previous Sunday morning’s services.

If you are new to Deane Church or are not yet a Christian then doing the Christianity Explored Course may be more helpful to you than joining a home group. If however you are interested in joining a home group, have a word with one of the clergy. There are currently seven home groups meeting at different times and venues through the week.

Men of Deane

A group for men of all ages at Deane with a programme of events throughout the year ranging from discussion nights in the local pub, breakfasts with guest speakers and archery evenings. Lee Higson heads up this ministry and would be delighted to talk to you if you’re interested in coming along.
